Nursery & Landscaping Team Member

We are looking for experienced candidates to join our team. This full-time position supports both nursery operations and professional landscaping services. This is a customer-facing position, and applicants should have a genuine passion for working with customers, answering questions, and helping them have a great experience. Venture Out encourages all individuals with nursery, landscaping, and maintenance experience to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers with plant questions, selection, and general nursery guidance
• Watering, pruning, and maintaining nursery stock
• Loading materials into customer vehicles
• Planting trees, shrubs, perennials, annuals
• Provide support as needed for irrigation, hardscaping, etc.
• Heavy equipment operation as needed
• Work independently as well as part of a team

Required Skills/Knowledge:

• Nursery, maintenance, agriculture, or retail experience
• Landscaping experience or willing to learn
• Ability to do physical work for the entire shift
• Experience operating machinery such as forklift, dingo, skid steer, landscape truck, etc.
• Experience operating power tools
• Valid Washington driver’s license
• Team player
• Able to easily lift 50 lbs+ regularly
• Willing and able to work in inclement weather

Wages/Benefits:

• Wages range from $21/hr. to $30/hr. DOE
